Travel, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, duration 16-32 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, including monitoring patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Manage and administer medications, including drips such as insulin and cardiac infusions, following unit protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and patient management.
• Float to other appropriate units as needed, supporting a team-based care environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional standards, including adhering to dress code, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, preferably in acute care or telemetry units.
• Valid NY RN license or proof of application with applied date.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable).
• NIHSS certification prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CMSRN certification.
• Experience with IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and telemetry procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a float team across different units.
