Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries under the supervision of the Imaging Director and radiologist.
- Collaborate effectively with patients and their families, as well as other departments, to ensure quality patient care and performance improvement activities.
- Manage time efficiently, maintain a safe and clean environment, and practice confidentiality and professional courtesy.
- Support the hospital’s mission and vision, adhere to safety and infection control policies, and demonstrate competence in radiologic technology.
- Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved radiology technology program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state licensure.
- Flexibility to work overtime and perform on-call duties as needed.
- Knowledge of age-related developmental issues for pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Current BLS certification.
- Maintain continuing education credits as required by ARRT.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in radiologic procedures.
- Strong patient communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
