Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care to patients in a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital setting.
• Administer treatments, respiratory assessments, and manage ventilator support using EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards, including BLS and registration requirements.
• Participate in scheduled on-call shifts as necessary, including holidays and weekend coverage.
• Complete 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend worked.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license and registration.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a critical care or Level 1 hospital environment.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Availability for on-call duties as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior critical care or ICU experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience highly desirable.
• Ability to work well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

• Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
