• Full-time, 8.5-hour days, travel position with a possibility for temp-to-perm

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the catheterization lab and operate specialized imaging and equipment for cardiac procedures
• Assist with and support various cardiac catheterization procedures, including TAVR, peripheral interventions, and device placements
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient data, hemodynamic measurements, and procedure details
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and uphold patient safety standards throughout procedures
• Support departmental efficiency by collaborating with the medical team and ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
• Act as a radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures and support team training on cath lab technologies

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program, or an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field
• Current Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Radiology
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred and highly encouraged
• Ability to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Flexibility to work every third or fourth weekend and participate in on-call duties as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting or cath lab environment
• Familiarity with imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring, and cath lab equipment such as contrast injectors and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient safety skills
