Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a short-term acute care setting
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care using Meditech charting system
• Float within hospital departments or to nearby facilities as needed based on hospital volume and needs
• Support weekend staffing requirements, including working a minimum of 3 weekends every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (All certifications must be current; PALS is required before starting)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a medical-surgical setting
• Telemetry experience is required; ambulatory experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pediatrics or pediatrics-admit units is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
