- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
- Opelousas, LA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 8-week contract, night shift (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
- Monitor patient health status and respond to acute needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Med Surg, Orthopedics, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to shift rotations
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous contract or travel nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent patient assessment skills
