Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Days shift (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including Neuro, Spine, Total Joint, and Cardiovascular surgeries
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and surgical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Follow unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines, including orientation to policies on-site
• Rotate call responsibilities as needed, in coordination with staff and during interviews
• Maintain electronic medical records (Meditech) and ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• California RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience working with perioperative equipment and various surgical specialties
• Ability to work as part of a flexible, team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Heart surgery experience, including CABG and valve procedures
• Certifications in specialized areas (e.g., CNOR)
• Skills in robotics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, thoracic, or general surgery
