• Full-time, Contract, Night shifts (12-hour shifts), Onsite
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized perioperative care to adult and pediatric transplant patients in the Operating Room.
• Assist with abdominal transplant procedures, including liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants.
• Ensure compliance with transplant-specific protocols and regulatory standards.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective transplant surgeries.
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed to support surgical teams.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Indiana nursing license (permanent or temporary) or compact license at start date.
• Minimum 2 years of strong transplant experience, particularly in abdominal transplants.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with transplant-specific charting and protocols.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Night shift availability, 12-hour shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with pediatric transplants, particularly at specialized centers.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record systems.
• Prior experience working in short-term acute care environments.
