• Full-time, Nights, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, including post-operative care, patient assessments, and treatments.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and manage other acute care procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including ostomy care, colostomy management, and feeding tube care.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and ensure safety standards are maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State RN license in Missouri or compact state (license must be in hand at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Med/Surg.
• Strong documentation skills and excellent patient care abilities.
• IV therapy skills, including starting IVs and managing peripheral and central lines.
• Basic phlebotomy expertise.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Ability to pass Relias EKG exam and interpret/manage dysrhythmias.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and remote patient monitoring.
• Familiarity with epidural, CBI, PCA, and other post-operative or high-acuity patient procedures.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols for colorectal, GU, and oncology patients.
• Basic telehealth knowledge is a plus.
