Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, onsite
• 3 nights per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical units in a busy hospital setting
• Float to medical-surgical floors across the main hospital and Ashley River Tower as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care
• Document patient progress and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EPIC)
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and trauma level standards
• Assist with holiday rotations and additional weekend shifts upon request

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license (multistate/compact license accepted) or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to float between units and work rotating schedules

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Magnet hospital
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to accommodate block schedule requests with managerial approval
