Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing activities in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II care, and monitor local patients in the operating room.
• Provide sedation for selected procedures while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process, adherence to established standards of care, policies, and procedures to maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Act as a patient advocate, supervising and directing assigned personnel.
• Be available on a scheduled rotation for on-call responsibilities in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience or training in perioperative or PACU nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong patient advocacy and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous PACU or operating room experience.
• Knowledge of sedation practices and anesthesia recovery protocols.
