Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular operative procedures in a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Scrub and circulate during CVOR surgeries, ensuring optimal patient safety and surgical outcomes
- Assist surgical teams with perioperative patient management and preparation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain adherence to best practices and protocols
- Participate in on-call shifts, with a requirement of 6-8 shifts plus one full weekend every four weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in hand at the time of application (compact license preferred)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CVOR scrub and circulator nurse
- Previous travel nursing experience in a similar setting is a plus
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols
- Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations
