Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Support other imaging technologists and assist in maintaining smooth workflow.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Document procedures, complete logs, and participate in ongoing education to stay current with technical advances.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and support departmental goals.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Texas.
• BLS certification (AHA approved).
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with PACS systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-census hospital environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and at multiple campus locations as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, dedicated to patient safety and quality care.
