Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of interventional radiology and special procedures, including angiograms, venograms, PICC placements, port-a-caths, vertebroplasty, embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomies, IVUS, fistulograms, transjugular biopsies, IVC filter removals, and thrombectomy for neuro cases.
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems.
- Maintain safety and quality standards in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC electronic medical records.
- Float as needed between facilities within the area, including Florence, Edgewood, and Fort Thomas, based on staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification.
- Valid Kentucky radiologic license (KBMIRT) or pending upon submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience in a clinical setting.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Ability to float between multiple sites as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with thrombectomy procedures for neuro cases.
- Familiarity with equipment such as EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems.
