Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assist with patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under supervision.
• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient progress accurately using Cerner charting system.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.
• Float within hospital or to nearby facilities as needed, supporting various departments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• AT least 18 months of experience preferred, with exceptions considered based on unit.
• Current in-hand Indiana state license or certification; temporary licenses may be available.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week with guaranteed hours of 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend per month and 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Ability to float within hospital departments as needed.
