- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services during overnight shifts at a pediatric teaching hospital
- Work hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including potential coverage on holidays and floating to other pediatric units as needed
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Adhere to scheduling policies with no self-scheduling, and ensure reliable attendance with less than 3 call-offs within the assignment period
- Support the hospital’s mission by providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical care settings such as ED and PICU
Required Qualifications
- Current Arkansas Respiratory Therapy License (must be in hand at submission; license processing time is approximately 6+ weeks)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; CRT certification not accepted
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Must test negative for nicotine prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU experience is preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred
