Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients, including circulating cesarean sections.
• Monitor fetal activity and perform fetal monitoring certifications as required.
• Stabilize and care for newborns in the nursery, including immediate stabilization and continued care until transport if necessary.
• Collaborate within the hospital team and float as needed across departments within the skill set.
• Adhere to all compliance and certification requirements, including BLS and NRP.

Required Qualifications

• Valid NY State RN license.
• Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with C-sections and neonatal stabilization.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification within the past two years.
• Ability to complete required modules promptly prior to orientation.
• Must meet local radius requirements: residing outside a 50-mile radius from Saratoga Springs, NY, and without recent employment with the same facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with immediate newborn care and stabilization.
• Previous travel nursing assignments in similar settings.
• Ability to perform and interpret EKGs and participate in relevant exams if required.
