Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Lafayette, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, Onsite, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a dynamic, mixed acuity hospital unit including oncology, stroke, cardiac, GI, and pulmonary patients.
• Manage and administer IV drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Insulin, following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and care for patients post-heart cath and post-pacemaker procedures.
• Assess and respond to unstable stroke cases and support BiPap therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting system.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana state license, compact, or IN temporary license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Must have ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, and participate in floating within the hospital.
• Must be able to work at least two major holidays per year.
• SSN and DOB required at time of submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in a mixed acuity, neuro, stroke, or PCU unit.
• Strong neuro care background, including management of stroke and post-procedure care.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
