Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical and progressive care patients, including oncology and stroke units.
• Administer and monitor IV drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Insulin.
• Assess patient condition, implement care plans, and respond to patient needs, including unstable strokes and BiPAP cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner electronic charting system.
• Float within hospital or to nearby facilities as needed, covering a range of acuity levels.

Required Qualifications
• Valid in-state RN license in Indiana prior to start date.
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Solid neuro experience, with strong assessment skills for stroke and neuro cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with cardiac, stroke, and oncology patient care.
• Knowledge of Cerner electronic health records.
• Critical care or telemetry experience is advantageous.
