Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients.
- Implement treatment plans, exercises, and therapy sessions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapists.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Comply with all healthcare regulations and clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification.
- Previous experience assisting in physical therapy settings preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Basic knowledge of therapy equipment and safety procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in outpatient or specialized rehabilitation settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
