• Registered Nurse - LTAC
Location
• Denver, CO
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide bedside care to LTAC patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to plan and deliver safe patient care
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vent/trach care and central line management
• Delegate patient care duties appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff based on their education and experience
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and training
• Supervise and provide guidance to assigned personnel to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Valid CO multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume)
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience in an acute or LTAC setting
• Proven vent/trach management experience
• Knowledge of central line care; wound care experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and adapt to rotating schedules
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in LTAC or similar long-term care environments
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
