Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Critical Care

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for pediatric, neonate, and infant patients in a Level 1 Trauma Magnet Teaching Hospital.
• Work a rotating schedule, including holiday weekends, with every other weekend off.
• Collaborate with medical teams within scope, potentially floating to sister facilities as needed based on experience.
• Manage on-call requirements: no on-call duty for this position.
• Ensure compliance with agency and facility policies, including necessary licensing, certifications, and documentation prior to assignment.

Required Qualifications

• RRT certification from NBRC and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP).
• Valid South Carolina licensure in hand at start date.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory care experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to accommodate block scheduling with prior approval.
• Experience working in a teaching and Level 1 Trauma hospital environment.
