Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, contract, nights shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care on a busy Oncology Medical Surgical unit.
- Administer chemotherapy and other specialized procedures.
- Monitor patient status and respond to clinical needs.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit policies and infection control guidelines.
- Utilize electronic medical records and vital sign machines in a well-equipped unit.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience working in Medical Surgical or Oncology units.
- Chemotherapy certification is required.
- Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM).
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Certification in chemotherapy administration.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as Meditech.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and adaptable team players.
