Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform therapy sessions independently and efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress using electronic charting systems.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California occupational therapist license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric therapy preferred.
• Ability to work independently and proficiently.
• Willingness to float between facilities within the state as needed.
• Successful completion of background and reference checks as per hospital policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric therapy experience in acute care hospitals.
• Comfortable with Epic electronic charting.
• Available to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
