- Full-time, night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients undergoing gynecological, urological, laparoscopic, and outpatient surgeries
- Monitor and manage patients requiring up to 24-36 hours of post-surgical observation before discharge
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety and recovery progress
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Follow all hospital protocols and standards for post-surgical patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a perioperative or recovery unit
- Current BLS certification
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with post-surgical recovery in GYN, Urology, laparoscopic, or outpatient procedures
- Strong monitoring skills for extended post-operative observation
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 13-week travel assignment
