Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments given and document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to improve or restore function and promote healing for residents with temporary or long-term disabilities.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and exercises.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care as needed.
• Ensure all treatment protocols comply with established plans of care and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina for assisting patients with movements and exercises.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards.
