Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 40 beds.
• Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, implementing care plans in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and provide family support and education.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
• Participate in weekly orientation sessions and adhere to unit protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Active RN license valid in the state of Massachusetts.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend.
• Successful completion of hospital orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level III/IV NICU within a hospital environment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in neonatal patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Additional Information

• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.
• All candidates must be separated from the facility for at least one year if previously employed there.
• Paid parking available; public transportation options are accessible.
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time.
• Complete BILH coversheet required at submission.
• Flu vaccination required prior to start (medical exemptions only).
• No immediate travel requests accepted from local candidates.
