Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process during assigned shifts
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, and efficient care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accordingly
• Supervise non-licensed personnel and ensure competency standards are met
• Complete required patient education and discharge planning
• Follow protocols and standards of care, including on-call and holiday rotation as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Valid State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Ability to scrub in procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred but not required; on-site training available
• PALS and ACLS certifications are preferred
