Key Responsibilities
• Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse resident population.
• Manage caseload involving post-acute deconditioning, CVAs, cardiac, orthopedic surgeries, and general decline.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
• Contribute to a supportive environment focused on enhancing residents’ quality of life.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation and common diagnoses.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience treating residents with orthopedic surgeries, CVAs, and general decline.
• Certification or training in rehabilitation or neurologic disorders.
• Familiarity with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities.
