Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and general ultrasounds, utilizing advanced imaging technology.
- Accurately capture and analyze images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Document and communicate imaging findings according to departmental protocols.
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including required certifications and licensing.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography.
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in Abdomen upon submission.
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in OB/GYN specialties upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Experience with ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in diagnostic imaging in a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities such as PET-CT (beneficial but not required).
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
