Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU nursing care, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and administration of emergency medications
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, including ventilator management and airway suctioning
• Perform complex procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, line care, and sheathing management
• Assess and respond to patient needs related to cardiac, respiratory, renal, and neurological conditions
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including PPE use and isolation precautions
• Collaborate with medical teams to deliver comprehensive critical care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience (experience may be considered with less depending on qualifications)
• Current, active license in Indiana or valid compact license (must be willing to obtain an Indiana license prior to start)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Proven ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex ICU patient needs
• Must be able to float within hospital or to affiliate facilities as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cardiac surgery, cardiac cath procedures, or stroke management
• Familiarity with advanced airway management, vasoactive drips, and arterial line care
• Ability to perform complex assessments such as ABG interpretation and ventilator titration
