• Full-time, Days, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver outpatient physical therapy interventions following established safeguards and departmental guidelines.
• Document client evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and modifications in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, schedules, and self-exercises for continued care at home.
• Utilize age-appropriate assessment and treatment techniques for patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses.
• Incorporate current research and best practices into treatment to optimize patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care across multiple departments as needed, primarily in outpatient hospital settings with occasional inpatient/sub-acute coverage.
Required Qualifications
• Valid licensure in the state of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No requirement to work alone, carry call, or work weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in outpatient hospital environments.
• Familiarity with computerized charting systems, specifically One Chart.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and use of departmental equipment.
