Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a specialized Stroke and Heart Failure unit, managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions.
• Float to different units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility to ensure optimal patient coverage.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety procedures, and documentation standards utilizing Meditech EMR.
• Support a team of highly trained nurses in a fast-paced, specialized clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ASN or higher).
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a Compact State license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience or 18 months under a professional license with at least 1-year experience in a similar specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a neuro-cardiac or critical care setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with ability to float between units smoothly.
