Job Title
• Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Location
• Petaluma, CA

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, days shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as delegated and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Record treatments administered and note patient progress in medical records
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to improve function, relieve pain, and promote healing for residents with disabilities
• Ensure all treatments follow established care plans and regulatory guidelines
• Support patients, families, and caregivers through clinical support and instruction
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina to assist with patient movement and exercises

Preferred Experience / Skills
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Previous experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is a plus
• Knowledge of documentation procedures and regulatory compliance
