- Full-time, 4x10-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with medical team to provide high-quality imaging services.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Document and communicate imaging results accurately in the electronic health record.
- Adhere to facility policies, including on-call requirements as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current MRI technologist license issued by the state of Alaska.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Certified in MRI imaging procedures.
- Ability to obtain a pending license if applicable (takes 10-12 weeks).
- Flexibility to float within scope to outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate rental vehicle if provided.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Ability to work in a critical access hospital setting.
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
