• Full-time, 4x10-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal functioning.
• Collaborate with medical team to provide high-quality imaging services.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Document and communicate imaging results accurately in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to facility policies, including on-call requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current MRI technologist license issued by the state of Alaska.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certified in MRI imaging procedures.
• Ability to obtain a pending license if applicable (takes 10-12 weeks).
• Flexibility to float within scope to outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate rental vehicle if provided.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to work in a critical access hospital setting.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
