Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PACU

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, days shifts with call, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to PACU patients in a Level 2 trauma hospital setting
• Monitor and assess patient vitals, pain levels, and recovery progress
• Perform procedures including IV starts, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient recovery
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic system
• Work 12-hour day shifts Monday through Saturday with on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years PACU experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital
• Valid ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Proven proficiency in procedures such as IV starts, drips, arterial lines, and pain management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital with trauma center designation
• Ability to float to other units such as Day Surgery if needed
• Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work independently
