Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, on-site, days and nights rotating shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in an Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and other vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
• Assist with emergency interventions as needed, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance

Required Qualifications
• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units (travel experience acceptable)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments with passing scores during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in a PCU or Stepdown unit
• Experience with electronic medical records and critical patient monitoring
• Ability to quickly adapt to rotating day/night shifts and variable schedules
