Job Title

• Ultrasound/Sonographer – Echo/Ultrasound Specialist

Location

• Panama City, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, dayshift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Saturday, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures including breast, thyroid, liver biopsies, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Operate advanced ultrasound equipment in a hospital setting
• Document procedures accurately within the hospital’s system
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging processes
• Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Proficiency with Logic E10, E9, and S8 ultrasound machines
• Ability to perform complex procedures such as biopsies and paracentesis
• Strong documentation and patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment or with advanced imaging modalities
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Willingness to float occasionally to other hospital departments
• Ability to adapt to new technology and equipment
