Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
- Assist and circulate during complex cardiac procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and Balloon Pump.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
- Adhere to hospital guidelines, policies, and safety protocols, including proper documentation.
- Support unit operations, including float duties within scope of practice when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Nursing License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology setting.
- Advanced skills in EP circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring (at least two required).
- Ability to work dayshift, and flexibility to participate in on-call rotation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and other specialized procedures.
- Certification as a RCIS or ARRT (within 3 years for techs).
- Familiarity with GE fluoroscopy, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, Penumbra systems.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
