Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF
Location: Roseau, MN
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, shift-based (Days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff across the facility, ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and directing clinical operations within the household to promote a person-centered, resident-directed culture.
- Perform professional nursing assessments and evaluations for residents, coordinating care with other nursing team members.
- Ensure documentation, medication administration, safety, sanitation, and resident rights are maintained according to facility and government standards.
- Guide clinical staff on infection control, wound management, safety, and other accountable areas.
- Support operational efficiency by managing staffing and resource utilization in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical professionals, and other departments to ensure coordinated and effective resident care.
- Demonstrate dementia-sensitive care practices that promote individualized, person-centered well-being.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with dementia care and person-centered approaches.
- Familiarity with clinical policies related to infection control, wound care, and medication management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
