Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Float within scope to all pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU, to meet facility staffing needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Follow all clinical protocols and safety guidelines pertinent to pediatric critical care.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing education as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
- Ability to float across pediatric units within the facility’s scope.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT procedures.
- Additional certifications or training related to pediatric critical care.
