• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Oncology Telemetry unit with high-acuity progressive care beds and pediatric patients (pediatric experience not required).
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs; respond to emergency situations using rapid response teams.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage IV and Central lines.
• Utilize specialized equipment including telemetry monitors, PCA pumps, and ventilatory support devices.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and patient safety procedures, including fall prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive oncology patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred, especially in high-acuity or oncology settings.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH required.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias, manage cardiac and medication drips, and operate essential medical equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience, including chemotherapy management and monitoring.
• Experience with complex wound care, arterial line management, and non-invasive airway management (e.g., CPAP, BiPAP).
• Knowledge of insulin protocols, phlebotomy, and surgical drain management.
