Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, inpatient hospital setting, evening shift (5x8 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and perform maintenance on EEGs in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Cover inpatient EEG requests as needed
- Work during scheduled holidays, with prior approved RTO
- Support EEG procedures for pediatric patients
- Ensure documentation and compliance with facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience
- Experience with pediatric patients required
- EMU monitoring experience is mandatory
- EPIC charting proficiency
- Virginia or compact state licensure at the time of submission
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays
- Must have SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email for travel compliance
- Minimum 1 year of recent EEG tech experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred
- Prior experience with inpatient EEG monitoring
- Familiarity with VCU policies and modules during orientation
