• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown units, including post-cardiac surgery and cardiovascular procedures.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and administer blood products.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and care for ventilated patients with ventilator management.
• Support patients undergoing procedures such as TAVR/TAVI, cardiac cath interventions, and implantations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care across all relevant units.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana, compact, or temporary license (must be obtained prior to start).
• Minimum of 18 months of recent relevant RN experience.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH preferred.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage complex cardiac patients.
• Capacity to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, or other advanced cardiovascular devices.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Cerner.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment.
