Key Responsibilities

• Provide first assist surgical support in vascular/endovascular procedures.
• Assist in a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, ENT, dental, GYN, urology, plastics, neuro, ortho/spine, and robotics.
• Scrub during surgeries, ensuring compliance with sterile protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient operative flow.
• Adhere to all safety and procedural standards, including necessary certifications and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support surgeon needs during procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Formal CST education from an accredited program; on-the-job training alone is not accepted.
• Ability to produce a technical diploma from CST training for compliance purposes.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent surgical tech experience, including vascular/endovascular procedures.
• CST license in hand or a compact license.
• BLS certification.
• Scrub experience in multiple surgical specialties as specified.
• Must be able to work Mon-Fri, with call once a week and every third weekend.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vascular and endovascular surgical experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Robotics.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with diverse surgical cases.
