Schedule / Job Type
• Days shift, full-time, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide intraoperative surgical assistance in CVOR procedures, specializing in cardiac cases.
• Maintain sterile technique, proper specimen labeling, and handle equipment safely, including radiation, laser, and fire safety protocols.
• Follow aseptic procedures, universal protocols, and safety standards such as radiation and disinfection.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, ensuring compliance with all safety and technical standards.
• Adhere to shift rotation including every third weekend and available for call every other weekend.

Required Qualifications
• CST certification and CFA with CVOR experience.
• Must produce a technical diploma from CST training; on-the-job CST certificates are not accepted.
• BLS certification.
• NBSTSA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CVOR.
• Current license or compact license required at submission.
• Ability to comply with travel and local rules, including mileage and reference requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Proficiency in cardiac case procedures.
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Flexible to float between units within system guidelines.
