Job Title

• X-ray / Radiology Technician

• Springfield, IL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, on-call and holiday coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays of the abdomen, chest, head, extremities, spine, and pelvis
• Operate specialized equipment such as O-ARM and C-Arm during surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Work within adult acute care, outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, and operating room settings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality imaging services
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including possible coverage at affiliate hospitals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year imaging experience, with 18 months preferred
• Valid Illinois state license in radiologic technology
• Certification through ARRT
• BLS certification required
• Active license in hand at time of submission
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• On-call availability required
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience
• Additional certifications such as AHA or Red Cross
• Experience with adult acute care, ICU, ER, NICU, OR procedures, and adult outpatient settings
• Experience with head, extremity, spine, and pelvis X-ray procedures
• Familiarity with mobile and surgical imaging procedures
