• Travel, Full-time, Days shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room for surgical patients.
• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile environments.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the facility's electronic health record system.
• Float to other departments as needed, maintaining flexibility with scheduling.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, or vascular specialties.
• Registered nursing license in the state of North Carolina or appropriate compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgery procedures.
• Knowledge of Cerner documentation system.
• Experience in multiple surgical service lines such as GYN, neuro, orthopedics, plastics, urology, burn, or trauma.
• Flexibility with variable scheduling and call requirement.
