Key Responsibilities
- Provide licensed nursing care in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.
- Cover CNA duties as needed and assist with patient care activities.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state licensing requirements.
- Follow assigned schedule, including working every other weekend as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NY State LVN / LPN license or proof of application with applied date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in LTC/SNF settings.
- AHA BLS certification (additional certifications preferred).
- Ability to cover CNA duties as needed.
- Reliable transportation, with vehicles equipped for winter conditions if applicable.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of facility operations including bed counts and specific client needs.
