Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, full-time, day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to hospitalized patients in the PACU setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and neurological status during recovery from anesthesia
- Administer medications and perform procedural tasks such as lab draws and catheterizations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement recovery plans
- Document patient care activities accurately in the Cerner system
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment, following unit policies and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with ventilator monitoring
- NIH Stroke Scale experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma and pediatric patient care experience
- Skilled in the use of standard PACU equipment
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
